Taylor Bros is currently conducting a study of proposals for an accommodation upgrade to the Stena Clyde oil rig. The study is to include the budgeted costs of implementing the various proposals. The proposals are required to meet the following requirements; increase persons onboard to 120, 10 new office spaces, new accommodation, bathroom and recreational spaces, new galley and laundry and a new helideck designed to CAP 437.
The design and installation is to be approved by various class and statutory authorities. The solution is to be a modular assembly and is to be installed within 30 days.
Taylor Bros has an in house design team consisting of four Naval Architects, four Draftsmen, QA Manager and an Estimator. Together this team has years of experience and coupled with the knowledge of the Management and Trades experience in the Company can deliver efficient project management for a very wide range of subjects. All of our design team have come out of marine backgrounds and deal with matters from all Classification Societies on a daily basis. The fact that this design team is in-house makes a seamless flow from design, manufacture to product delivery.
